Our team is currently in the field, collecting data on the impact of ambient air pollution on respiratory health among children in the Chandigarh Tricity region. The study will establish baseline linkages between AQI fluctuations and pediatric hospital admissions, contributing to policy frameworks for clean air and child health protection.
CSHR Foundation recently completed a highly successful two-day training workshop on SPSS and STATA for public health data analysis, attended by 40+ researchers and postgraduate students. The session covered everything from basic data cleaning to advanced regression modeling for health outcomes research.
Our study on nutrition gaps and anemia prevalence among women in urban slums has been compiled into a comprehensive research report. Key finding: 58% of surveyed women were found to be anemic, with only 21% consuming iron-rich foods regularly. The report has been submitted to the National Health Mission for policy consideration.
